ABOUT Us
GO-BOOKS is a web based computer services team of accountants and IT professionals providing intuitive software to business and charities that helps elevate user acceptance and overall customer service. Our systems are designed to be as simple and intuitive as possible, even in complex areas, and to minimize business and technology risk often associated with more traditional installations.
Our software is provided on a subscription basis as has now become the accepted way to provide SaaS (Software as a Service) deployment. We believe we are the first UK based company to have provided original accounting and business software in this way with our first subscription commencing in 2002.
George Osborne is the founder and main designer or the systems. George, apart from being a qualified accountant and auditor, spent the formative years of his career in software development, project management and consultancy with what are now CAP Gemini and Grant Thornton. In more recent times he has been a director and company secretary of companies in diverse activities, from mining and exploration to publishing, and advisor to many companies through his accounting firm.
The GO-BOOKS team is now based in different countries around the world in a truly collaborative way to develop and enhance our software and respond to user needs with relatively short lead times.
